'Let me tell you something about this here babe, Jackie Woodburne. In the years I spent on Neighbours, I met some very special, very wacky people, and Jackie was by far the least wacky (most of the time) and the most special,' she wrote.
'However she made you feel as Susan Kennedy cannot compare to how she makes you feel as herself.
She was my favourite teammate and working with her is still a career highlight for me,' she added.
'She's been an on-screen mum and stepmum to about 20-odd young Australians and I feel so lucky and privileged to have been a part of that club.
Off set, she's one of the funniest people I've ever known.'
